Distinctive rock formations at Anstey's cove in Torquay. The early morning light gave the rocks a real warmth which I have exaggerated in my painting. Colour plays a significant role in my planning of a painting and trying to evoke the feeling I had when I sat there studying the scene in my sketchbook. My smaller studies help to inform the larger studio piece.
This painting is framed and ready to hang.
